Patch 1.5 updates required

The stats feed might start giving strange results if people are playing on the new v1.5 maps. EA haven't started sending stats from the new maps yet so until we start getting that data the results might look a bit strange.

If you are just playing on the pre-1.5 maps then it will all look fine.

When EA start sending the updated map data, the stats feed will probably break completely due to missing fields in the database. I'll be posting updates to the database schema as soon as we start seeing what needs to be updated and posting the updates in this topic.

There are two new game modes, so not sure yet if they will be using different codes to the current 3 types

If Conquest Assault is a new game type, those ought to be 3-13 and 3-15 - plus No Vehicle might be 4-15 for Shingle

I already considered that and I'm still waiting for the feed to break to see what they use. I've already posted that same thought on the bf2tech wiki to see what others might figure out.

I've deliberately only played Wake Island so far with the new maps, so it should be easy to resolve which map is which based on my stats.

I'll check it out...

It only seems to report on stats played from now on... anything prior to the other day isn't recorded specifically for the map, only in the global stats.

I'm not sure just how many "maps" there might be, given the various new game types for each map.

Okay, I'll do some test games where I carefully select the game mode and map - and quit before the round ends so there's no data contamination.

I don't think you need to do anything complicated. I was just going to play on a bunch of the different combinations and record how many kills I get on each one. As long a the kill counts are all different then yuo'll know which is which when the stats show for the individual maps...

I was going to play around with it this weekend and get it all worked out, but I'm happy for any assistance or other validation.

I jumped on a server quickly last night and can see the map it's recorded under:

Shingle - No Vehicles = 0-17

Piers, what did you play last night? It was 0-16

A few more to go though... does the no-vehicles count as a seperate map type I still wonder.

sorry, I had already typed my post earlier this morning but hadn't submitted it. You made your post before I submited so I hadn't seen it :)

We need to try out the other game modes now as well and get them sorted as well.
