Of course, It's Portal... Not sure it would be possible for me to say no.

It's not out for another 2 months, are the likely to do a better deal before then you think?

Yeah lets wait and see - I am sure Valve dont want another L4D2 scenario where I buy the game and then punish them by not playing it. I think the Egyptian protesters learnt a lot from that incident.

Portal 2 is out now - time to lock yourself in a room.

F***ME... Downloading now, reporting as 11.3GB!!!! The info on the game says it need 7.6GB of disk space, so I'm guessing that's the installed size. I'm hoping that isn't in *addition* to the 11GB I'm downloading at the moment.

Just finished the single player. Had hoped it might go a bit longer, but that was a good 14 hours worth (with help from the girls)

Awesome ending too. Was a bit easier to finish than Portal 1 was, but it was really spectacular.

I got stuck in the chamber with the three turrets behind the glass wall with the huge jump across to the exit.
Looking forward to the co-op mode now, hoping for some good challenges.

Played a co-op game with a random person on-line last night. Didn't have any in-game voice (it was late) but the guy was very patient with me stumbling my way through the puzzles. They don't seem particularly hard (yet), but needing to communicate is key, and I have yet to fully understand how all the special communication messages work.

Is definately something worth doing with a friend so you can experiment and stumble through the learning process together :)
