Thinking of a new Modem

Post by Mort » Sun Jul 12, 2015 1:41 pm

On top of having ongoing internet connection issues (bad line) I suspect I am also having problems with my modem not dealing with the bad line very well.

Currently using a Billion modem and thinking of getting something new. Not sure if a newer Billion, or time for a brand change.

What's everyone else using, and any thoughts/suggestions?

I have had the Home / Dual Band Wireless AC1750 Gigabit Cloud ADSL2+ Modem Router up and running for a little bit under 12 months now with no problems.

Oddly enough my connection seems to have become a lot more stable lately since they kicked all the no-good leaners off the network. Probably pure coincidence that there was a Telstra fence around a pit up the road that looked like it had caved in, so maybe there's been some repair stuff happening as well.
